Very easy to fall into a learned helplessness - a version of Stockholm syndrome with our current circumstances. This piece was great. Thanks for writing.

On the optimistic side, with the advent of technology and sharing these experiences, we could argue we are fighting the good fight together and more swiftly than past generations. The human struggle remains quite the same. I feel in a similar position at times and welcome the company on the journey!

"It doesn’t have to be that way. Every day offers us the chance of a curious stroll past the gate. Every day allows us to see the world and ourselves with fresh eyes. Every day can be a tiny reinvention, if we want it to be."

I love this quote and this piece of writing. Thank you, Frederik.

It is true, it feels that we are pressured from all sides to become tamer and conform with the majority, the existing set of rules, and established structure. I don't think it is ill-intended but a consequence of being human and a social animal.

I will do everything I can to keep the wild part of my being. I see myself being pulled in these different directions, but I will make every attempt to stay awake and aware of this. It can be lonely to walk the adventurous path but simultaneously deeply rewarding as we see some of the most fascinating depths of being alive.

Thank you, once again.
